- In this psychological thriller about the perils of social media, an offbeat beauty industry influencer struggles to maintain her sanity after an internet scandal, obsessive new love interest, and a stalker turn her life upside down...When her makeup horrendously disfigures a rival influencers face, Rose (Emma Jade) becomes the victim of an increasingly disturbed stalker. The only iconic thing about this film is the title - Iconic review by GD
If you really, really care about social media influencers and are fond of lots of blood, then this film might just be for you. The premise is good, but you soon don't really care what happens to Rose. We know social media is full of trolls and bedroom warriors so no surprises there. Then it all goes horribly wrong (who knew?) with drugs leading to paranoia and more blood. Why not just read the plot description and save yourself an hour and a half?
