- Synopsis:
- The Peterson's have the perfect family. But their idyllic life is shattered when their eldest daughter is killed by a drunk driver. Mr Peterson throws all his energy into seeing that the man responsible for his daughter's death is brought to justice. But when the young, hard-pressed district attorney (Denzel Washington) assigned to his daughter's case seems unable to contend with the tactics of the driver's attorney, Mr Peterson becomes increasingly frustrated. When the judge is forced to rule time, will he bring justice to a grieving family?
