Brilliant but bitter Brazilian scientist Zero (Wagner Moura) has the chance to turn back the clock when he accidentally opens a portal to the past. He decides to return to the worst night of his life. Back in 1991 he was humiliated at a college party by the love of his life, his girlfriend Helena. Without a second thought Zero seizes the opportunity to rewrite his history and get Helena back. Returning back to the present Zero is horrified to discover that he is now a powerful but corrupt businessman. And Helena is even further away from him than before. Zero's only option is to return to the past...
A funny time-travel movie that plays by its own rules.
- The Man from the Future review by ME
A Brazilian Portuguese language film with English subtitles, which thoroughly entertained me from beginning to end. Doesn't spend a lot of time faffing about with a build-up and promptly gets into the story.
