- War, Inc is an anarchic and wildly satirical political comedy. Featuring magnificent performances from John Cusack, Ben Kingsley and Joan Cusack as well as a fantastic first adult role from Hilary Duff. Brand Hauser is a hitman hired to assassinate an oil minister in the fictional middle-eastern state of Turaqistan. Working undercover at an American corporation, Tamberlain, he encounters Natalie who opens his eyes to the corruption behind the corporation. Between attending glitzy functions and dodging the advances of visiting Eastern European pop star Yonica Babyyeah, Brand discovers the whole grizzly truth behind Tamberlain.

War is bankrupt - War Inc review by CP Customer
War Inc is a politically inspired film, taking the chaos of the Middle East and combining this with corporate America. After all war is a booming business with centuries of growth and there’s a profit to be made. I’ve often enjoyed the odd John Cusack film and here he reprises one of his greatest roles, that of a hitman (grosse point blank), although a totally different character, he plays the role with clinical precision. War Inc suffers from lofty ambitions, trying to satire current events and the ethics of profit from such a dubious business. While you can appreciate the intent, it’s so badly executed despite a promising cast, that you cannot help but feel totally underwhelmed.
