When Donna Brunos' businessman husband George is jailed for a crime she is certain he did not commit, Donna decides she has only one option - to help him escape from a life behind bars.
Donna seeks the help of the enigmatic Alan, an ex-con with sharply divided loyalties. But as the escape takes shape, Donna finds herself drawn further into a dark, menacing criminal underworld.
Finally she is confronted by a series of shattering revelations that threaten not only everything she believes in but also, ultimately, her own live.
