The 1st one was just too good

I really liked the first 'Smoking Aces' and therefore expected a lot from the sequel. Unfortunately the sequel has nothing to do with the first movie and therefore just seems like another movie that is trying to make money off of its successful predecessor (Just like the American Pie sequels).
There is still tons of action, but the first one had a better cast and way better storyline.
