A crack unit of elite cops infiltrate a high rise tower block to bring down a gang of crooks that have been terrorising the city for years. These two opposing gangs soon discover that they are not alone and face a relentless attack from hordes of the undead, intent on destroying humanity as we know it The gangs join forces to survive and fight to reach ground level or face a grisly fate. Loaded with bad ass attitude, guns, axes and extremely creative hand to hand combat sequences The Horde projects a level of fear and paranoia that must be tamed in order to survive the night.

Gallic action horror

This is an effective and exciting action horror with some intelligent points to make about social and emotional deprivation. Barely any of the characters are sympathetic but their motives and actions are intriguing nonetheless. It betrays its low budget at times with some dodgy CGI but overall, the make up effects are excellent. The acting is at best adequate but the direction and editing are above average. The directing team of Dahan and Rocher are the ones to watch for future projects.
