War is bankrupt

War Inc is a politically inspired film, taking the chaos of the Middle East and combining this with corporate America. After all war is a booming business with centuries of growth and there’s a profit to be made. I’ve often enjoyed the odd John Cusack film and here he reprises one of his greatest roles, that of a hitman (grosse point blank), although a totally different character, he plays the role with clinical precision. War Inc suffers from lofty ambitions, trying to satire current events and the ethics of profit from such a dubious business. While you can appreciate the intent, it’s so badly executed despite a promising cast, that you cannot help but feel totally underwhelmed.
