Despite many of them being interned on the Isle of Man after war broke out. they brought a richness of endeavour and achievement to this country that still resonates today. In view of the lockdown we are currently experiencing, this makes one realise how hard some people's lives have been through no fault of their own and how to survive and ultimately ‘grow’ as a result. A gem.
