Dreadful - You Are My Sunshine review by MA
I was hoping to see a British based film adressing 'gay' issues during the 70's and the development of a long term same sex relationship. Unfortunately the story is numbingly predictable, the acting unbearingly wooden, the script penned by a 6 year old I think, the direction and production looks like a budget school students project, and I'm being kind. Just Awful -

The script is woeful & the acting terrible. The entire thing is very amateurish.
Its heart is in the right place but that is the only nice thing I can say about it.
A disappointment considering the high rating.

Synopsis sounded promising, but no!!
Script lame and predictable, acting cardboard, seen better acting in Emmerdale!!
I have no idea where the 3.5 rating came from, this film is shocking!!!
Have seen better acted and produced school plays.
Shame really, it could have been so much better.
Only giving it a one star as you can't give anything lower!!!
Avoid!!!
