Synopsis:

The timeless fairy-tale romance of Cinderella is given a delicious, stylish update in this mini-series set against the glamorous backdrop of 'La Dolce Vita'. Life couldn't seem more perfect for the beautiful Aurora (Vanessa Hessler) as she falls madly in love with Sebastian, the handsome, wealthy boy next door (Flavio Parenti). But life changes dramatically when Aurora's father dies and her wicked stepmother Irene turns the family villa into a hotel and forces Aurora to work as a maid. Enter Mrs Laura Coop mysterious American who just happens to be none other than Aurora's long-lost grandmother! This feisty old lady vows to right past wrongs and make sure the path of true love runs smooth. But as Irene intervenes yet again to tear the young lovers apart, will Aurora ever win back Sebastian's heart - and find that elusive 'happy ever after'?
