- Synopsis:
- Eugene Martone (Ralph Macchio) struggles with the devil and his destiny when he goes down to the Crossroads. Obsessed with unlocking the mysteries of the blues, the fledging musician finds cantankerous Willie Brown (Joe Seneca), a master of the blues harmonica, and frees him from prison. The unlikely duo travel from New York to Mississippi as Martone searches for fame and Brown tries to break a contract he signed years ago with the devil. En route, Martone meets and falls for sexy runaway Frances (Jami Gertz).

Not my bag. Pretty white boy; orphanage but he's a musical prodigy (wouldn't ya know)
Utter feel-good white man trash. Not worth the viewing time. If you can get past 15 minutes you're hard core.
