- Synopsis:
- Andy Millman (Ricky Gervals) is a struggling actor with ambition and a script. Darren Lamb (Stephen Merchant) is Andy's useless agent and Maggie (Ashley Jensen) is his air-headed best friend. After getting his comedy script accepted by the BBC, things are looking up for Andy. However, Andy's dreams of becoming a respected auteur are roundly demolished and Andy must claw back what little self-respect he can.

Better than series one. - Extras: Series 2 review by CP Customer
Extras: series 2 is one of those rare beasts a follow up series which is far better than its first. Less emphasis is put on the guest stars and more on the journey of Andy Millman who after craving fame is now stuck in the rut of a mainstream comedy reliant on catchphrases and cheap gags. Not quite the TV gold of 'The Office' but well worth seeing.
