Bill Murray is Jack Corcoran, a smooth talking 'motivator' who holds team-working seminars at business conferences. Jack never knew his father, so when he is contacted by solicitors to pick up a 'large inheritance', he is naturally overjoyed. Jack soon discovers his father was a famous circus clown, and is gob-smacked when his large inheritance isn't money...but Vera the elephant! Fun, laughter and chaos ensues as Jack manages to sell Vera to the highest bidder (Janeane Garofalo). His unsuccessful attempts to transport the cantankerous Vera across the country finally leave him with only one hilarious choice - to ride her to her new owner.
