Save The Cinema - Save the Cinema review by PT

Spoiler Alert

Do you always want to watch cutting edge films, I don't so this was a welcome change, OK so it wasn't going to win any awards but it was well acted, an interesting story, even the ending was good! And it was based on truth, well worth watching.

No it won't - Save the Cinema review by Alphaville

This is like one of those old Ealing films that turn up to fill a gap in the schedule on afternoon TV. At least you know what you’re getting. Even the title gives away the plot. It’s warm-hearted, cosy, completely predictable, completely dull and, despite the title, completely devoid of cinematic imagination.

AmDram - Save the Cinema review by JR

Spoiler Alert

Another sugary British plucky underdog feel good film but lacking the pace and humour to make it watchable. Samantha Morton battles valiantly, but the rest of the performances are hammy and the characters are cliched. There are several scenes of am-dram productions, and this film feels like one itself.
