Friends Mark Jennings (Emilio Estevez) and Bryon Douglas (Craig Sheffer) have lived like brothers, growing up together in the rough east side neighbourhood of Minneapolis St. Paul, along with a bunch of easygoing friends. But then a budding romance between Bryon and Cathy (Kim Delaney) puts a strain on the friendship and when Charlie (Morgan Freeman), the bar owner is killed helping them in a fight against two revengeful pool players, the rift widens. Bryon spends more time with Cathy, leaves the old life behind and takes on a regular job, while Mark falls into a rollercoaster world of revenge-fuelled fights and drugs. The two boys must learn to not only come to terms with their past, but also to decide on how to face the future. - Actors:
