- All Billie Jean (Helen Slater) wanted was $608 from the boy who broke her brother's scooter. But when you come from a small town in Texas, justice is something you have to win for yourself. Billie Jean didn't mean to become a fugitive. She'd never heard of Joan of Arc. But her fight for justice raised an army of kids strong enough to take on the law and the national media. It was good fun. Christian Slater’s first film and Supergirl was a perfect beauty. Lisa Simpson played a great little part too.
