The Chase. The Desert. The Shack. The Girl. The Roadblock. The End. One man races against time, against destiny, against the road: the ultimate car chase movie. Remake it! - Vanishing Point review by DS

Spoiler Alert
07/12/2016

Saw this film when I was a kid. I was so taken by it that I did my own road trip across America that lasted almost four months. Since then I have always talked about it with people - the film I mean. Seeing Vanishing Point again in December 2016, shattered the nostalgic view of it. No doubt it was made on a low budget. Still a great story and I would recommend it to anyone who has not seen it. But, if there is a movie mogul out there reading this, Vanishing Point could do with a remake with more exciting car chases and crashes. A new Mustang or a Camaro in the starring role, supported by Jake Gyllenhaal as the driver and Jamie Foxx as the DJ.
