A full on performance from Tilda in Julia as her character goes from bad to worse. A born survivor she seems to go from one crisis to another, attracting trouble and bad relationships on the way. This vicious circle does make for entertaining if repetitive viewing. The standout performance from Swinton manages to keep you interested despite the bleak outlook and long running time.
