This film is considered to be one of the most impressive of the Sherlock Holmes series and the best 'murder on a train' movie ever made. Once the train gets under way, so does the plot. Holmes has not only a theft but a murder to deal with. "The Star of Rhodesia" a precious jewel has been stolen and the railway guard is murdered as the train makes its way between London and Edinburgh. The master detective is forced to use all his powers of deduction and with the help of his trusty aid Dr. Watson, solves the crime in this fast paced thriller.
