Synopsis:
In this classic six-part BBC series, John Byrne, creator of 'Tutti Frutti', explores the Scottish country music scene in an unsentimental portrait of Glaswegian life and culture. Local food and wine correspondent Frank McClusky falls in love with waitress Cissie Crouch. Unfortunately for him, she's the wife of a convict, who is serving time for a crime he didn't commit. As Frank's life becomes more embroiled with Cissie's he goes on a mission to track down the guilty men.

25/01/2020

Only the first 3 (out of six) episodes on this dvd, and I can find no listing for a disc 2. I’m not too keen to invest 285 minutes watching disc 1, if  disc 2 isn’t available!

With 90% of the subtitles on a recent CP dvd - the Japanese Film ‘Shoplifters’ - missing, (and it was impossible to make sense of without them),  and a skipping/ pixelating problem with the disc previous to that, I’m getting a little wary and weary  of CP...
