Synopsis:
Arnold Schwarzenegger plays hard-luck ex-cop Jericho Cane, who unwittingly finds himself caught in a terrifying struggle between the human incarnation of evil (Gabriel Byrne) and an innocent young woman Robin Tunney chosen to be the mother of the Antichrist. As the clock winds down toward the fulfillment of a prophecy that would usher in the end of the world, Jericho alone can protect this girl and spare all of mankind from an unimaginable fate.

It was an action packed film with lots of religious references through out the film With the main character trying to save the world the film had something unique about it.

Complete nonsense, really - but never boring.

Replete with much better actors than an action movie really needs, Gabriel BYRNE is the best in a persuasive performance as the Devil.
