- When a mysterious orb of light strikes a deep water oil rig, the massive explosion erupts into a ball of flames creating a swirling mass of clouds and fire. As the oil rig continues to burn, the roiling clouds spin faster and faster, pulling the flames into a fiery vortex. As the vortex begins to move towards land, its power swells in size and fury! Anything but natural, it appears the fiery vortex is being controlled and manipulated by men who are plotting the ultimate terror attack. As the fiery vortex sweeps through Los Angeles leaving the city in ruins, a ragtag group of strangers must come together to stop the twister's creators and destroy the ultimate fireball...
