- Mockumentary series 'Short Poppies' takes us on an eight episode tour of small town New Zealand, introducing a myriad of unique individuals whose less than normal lives are uncovered by TV journalist David Farrier. Fun but repetative - Short Poppies review by JD
Rhys Darby plays 8 characters all flawed some more than others. His "drag" performances are a little awkward. After a while it becomes wearing but there are light moments of comedy in each chapter.
