Section 31 Room 101
- Star Trek: Section 31 review by MC
The worst “Star Trek” film I have ever seen. I am a fan. Reviews were negative but it was worse than I could imagine.

Not Really A Star Trek Film, Just A Weak SciFi
- Star Trek: Section 31 review by GI
This isn't really a Star Trek film, indeed apart from the occasional mention of the Federation and a very brief snippet of the theme music you'd never know. Michelle Yeoh plays Philippa, a character from one of the many TV spin off series apparently, who is some arch villain hiding out in some night club in space where she is recruited by a black ops team called Section 31 to recover a super weapon that she designed so it can't fall into the wrong hands. This cues a routine chase and fight sci-fi film that fails to bring any real excitement or thrills, is all very routine and some quite wooden performances. Yeoh gets to do martial arts, there's some weird aliens around and that's about it really. This is a very poor man's Guardians Of The Galaxy and an example of the increasing attempt by various studios to drag out the various sci-fi franchises to the point where it serves no one except extremely die hard fans. I like Star Trek but this isn't worth anyone's time.

What’s the point
- Star Trek: Section 31 review by PCW
We were promised a darker gritty black ops type of Star Trek ………
What we got was pointless drivel full of annoying characters a non existent story totally pointless i don’t know why they bothered the whole Star Trek franchise is in crisis look at discovery , strange new worlds all of it woke nonsense and unwatchable.
If a sequel is in development forget it and go away and think again go back to what made star trek great and fun to watch not this woke preaching rubbish.
Don’t waste your time with this twaddle.

I'm a Star Trek fan, but...
- Star Trek: Section 31 review by SH
I'm a Star Trek fan, but this has to be the worst movie I've ever seen. Definitely the worst ST movie and possible the worst in general. It was so bad I fell asleep watching it at home and was so unborhered when I woke up from a 20 minute nap I didn't bother to rewind to see what I missed because I just didn't see the point of wasting my time, I just wanted it to end. Storyline and characters are awful. Acting is terrible. There's no point to the movie, no big bad villain to build a franchise on. Really poor humour. This is not what ST fans want from the franchise!! It's Section 31 ffs, it should be dark and nasty and gritty. The dark side of the federation. Not a love in to make me feel like hugging a tree and turning vegan to save the planet.
I can honestly say I would absolutely NOT recommend this movie to anyone. Better to have no ST than this ST.

To Boldy Go Right Down the Toilet
- Star Trek: Section 31 review by GM
Absolute garbage - this isn't Trek, it's someone's deeply misguided attempt to try and turn a Discovery spin-off into a pathetic Guardians of the Galaxy clone, using Trek IP.
I managed to grit my teeth & bear 20 minutes of this trash before I ejected the disk and returned it. Don't waste a rental on this.

Temporal Anomaly
- Star Trek: Section 31 review by TC
I was looking forward to seeing this film as previous episodes of the Star Trek have had stories on Section 31. I enjoyed the back story of Phillipa Georgiou but overall the film was a disappointment. I would have preferred more characters from the Discovery or Strange New worlds universe. Michelle Yeoh was fantastic as usual but felt that this could have been a better written film.
