Unoriginal and predictable. - The I Inside review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
19/12/2005

The I Inside is a pretty average altered reality-time travel based thriller about a young man who wakes up in hospital after a car accident and cannot remember the past two years of his life. He soon finds he has the ability to switch between the past and the present and in turn possesses the ability to alter the future. The problem with the film is that it simply borrows bits from other films within this genre without actually bringing anything new into the mix, and despite a decent enough first half, the story develops a plot twist which pretty much kills any suspense and also the remainder of the film. If you want to see something else within this genre, with a superior story, better characters, and clever plot twists, then 'The Butterfly Effect' is a much better film!

I wasn't really expecting much, I'd heard a few bad reviews and normally a film starring Ryan Phillippe doesn't really strike you as being much cop, but surprisingly this film is cool. A fantastic, well written, acted, and directed film.

Definatley worth the rent.
