Synopsis:
Narrated by Roy Richards, founder of the British National Motorcycle Museum, this programme is dedicated to the people behind one of the greatest motorcycle museums in the world. Virtually destroyed by fire in 2003 together with many priceless exhibits, the British Motorcycle Museum has been lovingly restored by a group of artisan engineers from the ranks of the world's leading racing bike marques, a restoration that will continue for both existing and new acquisitions. Since the rebuild, the museum has been restored to even greater glory and now showcases the finest collection of motorbikes through the ages.
A truly priceless collection, this wonderful video features many classic machines from distinguished manufacturers such as Triumph, Norton, BSA and AJS, and includes the 650cc Triumph Streamliner which set the world speed record in 1956.
