Welcome to Las Vegas, Nevada, where Elvis has just left the building with $3.2m cash. Thomas Murphy (Kevin Costner) is no everyday Elvis impersonator. Heavily armed he leads an eclectic gang of outlaws (Christian Slater, David Arquette, Bokeen Woodbine and Howie Long) in a bullet-laden robbery for one of the most daring heists in criminal history at the 2001 International Elvis Convention.
Meanwhile, Murphy's partner in crime, electronic expert Michael Zane (Kurt Russell) is seriously distracted by the sexy Cybil Waingrow (Courtney Cox) and the sparks are flying. Now Murphy is after the money, Cybil is after Michael and the Feds (Kevin Pollok, Thomas Hyden Church) are after them all. It's every man, woman & Elvis for themselves as money changes hands, bodies pile-up and Michael and Murphy race towards a final stand-off. Whoever wins is King. |
