Wonderland (2003)

Los Angeles, July 1st 1981. An emergency call takes LAPD officers to 8763 Wonderland Avenue. At the crime scene they discover a multiple homicide. The most gruesome slaughter since the Manson murders, four victims have been viciously bludgeoned to death; a fifth, left for dead, has been so badly beaten she remembers nothing. All the evidence points to a gangland execution and as the investigation unfolds, two prime suspects emerge. One, from the seedy world of the city's porn industry, is the infamous movie star John Holmes (Kilmer); the other is drug dealer and racketeer Eddie Nash, a notorious gangster with a taste for revenge. Wonderland tells the story of the brutal slayings and the unanswered questions at the heart of one of Hollywood's most sordid crimes.
