A personal helicopter tour over 613 miles of superb coastal walking. The South West Coast Path is not only one of the most scenic paths in the British Isles, with its dramatic seascapes, but also one of the most historic. The intelligent, lively narrative includes literary allusions to Thomas Hardy, Daniel Defoe, John Betjeman, Daphne du Maurier, Agatha Christie, William Wordsworth, Samuel Coleridge, John Fowles, Jane Austen ... and many others. There are also references to shipwrecks, smugglers, pirates, the earliest coastguards and lighthouses.

Compared to the DVD of the north west coast of Cornwall the photography is less good. The shadow of the helicopter is a frequent distraction and somehow the commentary less interesting. It does not however fail to live up to the title.
