Synopsis:
Mahavir Singh (Aamir Khan), a young talented wrestler, could never accomplish his dream of winning India an international gold medal in wrestling due to financial pressures. After marriage he hopes that his son will fulfil his dream. However over the next 15 years he has four daughters. Dangal (Wrestling), is a story of how Mahavir's daughter fulfils his dream. An extraordinary story of hope, perseverance, grit and passion, based on the true story of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat and his daughters Geeta (Zaira Wasim / Fatima Sana Shaikh) and Babita Phogat (Suhani Bhatnagar / Sanya Malhotra).
