- Synopsis:
- 1986, Chernobyl. Lera (Olesya Vlasova) is placed as a junior school teacher in Prypyat, USSR. At the bus station, she is robbed, but saved by a handsome lieutenant, Ihor (Viktor Saraykin). Despite his many efforts, Lera cannot bring herself to love Ihor. Instead, she falls in love with a nuclear engineer named Vitas (Gediminas Storpirstis), who is in Chernobyl on business. However, once the nuclear plant explodes, their lives are scarred by the aftermath.
