Unbeknown to the passengers on board a cruise ship in the Caribbean, a mysterious vessel is approaching - on a collision course! Despite the attempts of the crew to avert disaster, the liner is lost with all hands down, except for seven survivors. They are saved when they clamber aboard a ghostly freighter, where they discover an even worse fate. They are now prisoners on a former wartime vessel. As this ship speeds towards an unknown destination, they realise that something is internet on destroying each one of them in a gruesome and terrifying way... It's not a ship, it's a killing machine! Death Ship - Death Ship review by Spoons
I have to say I wasn't expecting much from this but I was pleasantly surprised. A nice slice of B movie horror hokum which whilst not very scary does manage to entertain for 90 minutes. Good cast and the ghost ship looks suitably eerie. Good late Friday night viewing.

Film meh, DVD extra fantastic - Death Ship review by JR
The film is a cheapo 80’s horror movie. But the “making of” featurette is wonderful. A mere 40 years later and the director still hates the script and the screenwriter hates the way it was directed. And they don’t pretend otherwise. Gloriously honest: how many of these things have we sat through where everyone covers else’s backs? And all this before the performers weigh in: priceless.
