- Petrolhead Guy Martin wants to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day by parachuting out of an iconic Dakota aircraft over Northern France. But before he can recreate the dangerous mission that spearheaded the Invasion of Normandy, Guy will help rebuild one of the last remaining Douglas C-47 Dakotas, undergo brutal paratrooper training, make the first air-drop of a paratrooper's motorcycle since the war, and hear the moving stories of the veterans who served during the most complicated military operation in history.

Redefines dismal - Guy Martin: D-Day Landing review by AD
This could have been done waaaaay better.
Guy Martin is fine. What he's doing is fine. But the narrating voice-over... OMFG. Some bloke who used to do super-macho ads for men's de-odourent in the 70's (STINX.... For When Real Men Get High) has found himself trying to inject tension into every.single.blasted.line. he already delivers badly.
I pulled the plug about 20 mins in. My life is just too short.
