Kevin Whately returns to the role as inspector Robbie Lewis with his young partner D.S. Hathaway. The much loved Oxford policeman first appeared as Robbie Lewis alongside John Thaw in Morse in 1986. Twenty years on he is a widower, living alone in Oxford, after a period aboard and anxious to prove himself.
