Surprisingly dull - The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot review by Alphaville

Spoiler Alert

An inviting title for a dull film. The brief scenes of the two killings are intriguing and well-shot, but this is mostly a slow character study of an aged WW2 veteran. Sam Elliott drowses his way through it all, while Aidan Turner is wasted as his younger self in flashbacks.

This film Is dreadful. Disjointed plot, awful Disneyfied high emotion music, mumblecore acting. Didn’t feel anything for the central character.

Enjoyable Hokum Character Study - The Man Who Killed Hitler and Then the Bigfoot review by PV

I enjoyed this film. Yes, it's nuts, and a bit disjointed with lots of flashbacks.

But it does what it says on the tin and is very timely in these virus-fearing days.
