- After her baby brother is abducted by a murder of crows, headstrong teenager Prue McKeel (voice of Peyton Elizabeth Lee) launches a desperate rescue mission into the Impassable Wilderness - an enchanted forest hidden just beyond Portland, Oregon. Joined by her hapless but loyal classmate Curtis Mehlberg (voice of Jacob Tremblay), Prue navigates a world of talking animals, bandits, and powerful figures driven by grief and ambition. As the pair is drawn into a conflict threatening the balance of the forest itself, Prue must discover the strength and belief she never knew she possessed. If she hopes to save her brother and protect Wildwood's fragile future, she will have to risk everything.

Torturous - Wildwood review by KB
I knew within a few minutes that i wasn't going to enjoy this and i couldn't wait for it to finish. It's a nonsensical mess and was at least 30 minutes too long & was very tedious The script/dialogue is terrible and the voices of the animation characters actually sound like actors in a vocal booth rather than sounding natural. Don't expect any laughs as the script isn't witty or funny. It's also anti animal and unnecessarily violent/nasty for an animation and the silly story is some nonsense about overgrowing ivy with some aggressive coyotes. It's also irritatingly noisy in places.
