Synopsis:
"Years and Years" follows the Lyons, a busy Manchester family. Daniel's getting married to Ralph (Dino Fetscher). Stephen (Rory Kinnear) and Celeste (T'Nia Miller) worry about their kids. Rosie's chasing a new fella. Edith hasn't been home for years. All presided over by Gran, the imperial Muriel (Anne Reid). But when their lives all converge on one crucial night in 2019, the story accelerates into the future, following the lives and loves of the Lyons over the next 15 years. And what a world! Everything we fear, and everything we hope for, happening around this tight-knit family.
Society gets hotter, faster, madder, with the turmoil of politics, technology and distant wars affecting the Lyons in their day-to-day lives. Set against this, the Lyons have to navigate their everyday hopes and fears, knowing that one ordinary family could never change the world. Or could they?

The episodes are in the wrong order! - Years and Years review by AC

Spoiler Alert
16/02/2020

So far I've enjoyed two epsiodes on this disc. When I inserted the disc I went to first episode and watched. OK, the a slightly awkward introduction to what has been well reviewed when it was shown on TV, but I soon got the direction it was heading in. When that episode finished I moved on to Episode 2 on the disc. It seemeded to be a catchup, filliing in the gaps from the first episode, but after 10 minutes it became apparent the disc was out of sequence, so I'm now loooking at the prospect of watching the first, opening episode last. It still works, but the order of the DVD is a major major fail.
