In the course of one intense, hilarious week, from Sunday to Saturday, Johnny must use all his wits and charms to pay off a debt in a comic plot that snowballs into a suspenseful climax! Johnny Amico: the owner of the deli, a middle aged happy-go-lucky, perpetually-behind-the-eight-ball kind of guy... a gambler with a heart of gold!

Andy: the deli manager, a young, good looking, hard working, guy dedicated to Johnny and to abiding affection for pretty girls.

Pinky: a walking talking disaster who works at the deli... and here hangs our tale. It seems that Mrs Amico has given her son $10 a week of years to play a special number - but Johnny had stopped playing the number five years ago. The inevitable day comes when Mrs Amico's number comes and he scrambles to raise the money.
