Young Winnie Foster is stifled more by the formality of her proper life than the heat of summer, but change is in the air. An accident of fate introduces her to the Tucks - a generous and oddly different family who seem stuck in time. They show Winnie how to live life to its fullest but the sudden appearance of a mysterious stranger who is asking too many questions threatens the Tucks' world. Soon Winnie must choose life as she knew it or life as she knows it.

A good old fashioned life affirming drama

The story of 'Tuck Everlasting' takes place in a small American town around in the early 1900's, where Winnie Foster is the richest but also the unhappiest girl in town. The mansion Winnie calls home is surrounded by thousands of acres of woods, all owned by her wealthy family. Deep within these woods live the Tuck family, so reclusive that everyone seems to have forgotten that they exist. One sunny day Winnie goes for walk in the forest, gets lost, and meet young Jesse Tuck. The two soon fall in love, but Jesse hides a deep, dark secret. The film is full of mystery throughout but slowly the mysteries are revealed and subsequent choices must be made which will drastically alter each of the character's lives. Tuck Everlasting is a sweet, well crafted, thought provoking film that children and adults can enjoy equally.
