- Inspector Tequila Yuen (Chow Yun Fat) is determined to rid the city of gangs by beating them at their own violent game. But in a vicious shoot out, his partner and colleagues are massacred, leaving Yuen bitter and hungry for vengeance. Yuen comes face-to-face with Tony (Tony Leung), a lethal and cunning assassin working for a gun-running gang, in a stake-out where it seems that Yuen will end up in a body bag. But a stunning plot twist cranks up the action another gear when Yuen discovers that Tony has a dangerous secret...

Guns and explosives - Hard Boiled review by JC
I enjoyed this movie. It has some amazing shoot-outs and action scenes. The plot is simple enough but you have to pay attention to see who is who.

Rather spoilt by the very poor voice dubbing with no possibility of Chinese / Subtitles. Shame as we were looking forward to watching it.

Great Movie, badly dubbed - Hard Boiled review by LB
I cannot understand why they didn't include the original audio but instead only have the dubbed version which completely spoils what is a great film.
