Synopsis:
Everyone falls In love. Or so they say. It's the one thing that makes the morning glow, the days flow, and puts a smile on everything. The one thing that we know nothing about. Not even when it happens. Because it sneaks up on us like the wind in the woods, and washes us with it's freshness. Chori Chori. And one thing is certain: it will always be gloriously uncertain, testing its prey in every sort of way. Making them hurt. Making them want to turn away from it forever. But, as we know - Everyone falls in love! Even the two complete misfits in our story - Ranbir (Ajay Devgan in a refreshing portrayal) and Khushi (Rani Mukerji providing us insight into hitherto untapped talent.
) Two misfits who find A family that is characterized by a universal twinkle in their eyes, and represented by a wonderful cast (Kamini Kaushal, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Tiku Talsania, Smita Jaykar, and a host of others). And Khushi...A hostess in a Delhi banquet hall. Who hails from nowhere! And bluffs her way through everything. So - Ranbir and Khushi. Meet unexpectedly on Delhi's wintry streets. And the sparks - well - They refuse to fly! But what begins for them is a most unexpected adventure -with them striking an even more unexpected deal. It's an adventure that runs in different directions for these two opposites. The vagabond Khushi, (or "Miss Nautanki"), an orphan raised by a group of traditional North Indian Wedding singers, has always seen beaytiful wedding, and in her hidden moments has secretly longed for her knight in shining armour to sweep her off feet into one. This unique adverture provides her with a looking glass into her dream world - A world preparing for what has been her secret childhood dream - A fairy tale wedding. Happy to be even an inconsequential part of this world, Khushi inadvertently lets her guard down, and gets carried away in the maze of her own dream - of wanting to make this dream her own Till the dream breaks - And she realises that things will never be the same again. Because everyone fall in love. And sometimes it hurts like hell. For the complicated Ranbir (a.k.a. "Mr. Sadiyal") the adventure, the experience, unexpectedly opens up a new world. A world where he finds strength. To fulfill his dreams. Because a stranger shows him that she believes in him. And strange as it seems to him at first, this belief is what matters. Was probably what he needed all along. And more than matters, it soothes. It heals. Slowly, tentatively, he starts loosening his shackles. But then he hadn't couted on a con-girl changing all that! So he finds his perspective changing. And unbelievable, it puts a smile on his face. And one in his heart. Till the dream breaks. And he realises that time he may have lost everything. But why does this always happen? Don't we all know? Or do we? Because everyone fall in love - Or so they say!
