The Last Minute is a fast, furious, frightening, funny four letter frenzy of a film directed by Stephen Norrington, the Director of the dark vampire classic, Blade. It's about what happens if your chance at becoming famous goes wrong. It's what might have happened to Will Young if he'd failed the audition. It's what happens if you believe your own publicity when no one else really does. It's what happens when you're so scared about running out of time. It's as if Sam Peckinpah took the film fame and beat it up frame by frame. This is the anti-fame, the warning sign for those who think you can just walk into fame without knowing what you're doing.
