The satiric adventures of a working-class family in the misfit city of Springfield...Homer returns from a nuclear power convention a changed man, and Lisa begins to suspect that he has become a domestic terrorist...Lisa is distressed when she discovers that her new friend is a Republican, and they wind up running against each other as Springfield Elementary's second grade representative...Lisa becomes friends with Sideshow Bob, who now has a new job working with genetically-altered foods.
