Synopsis:
Hollywood, 1969, a land of myths, beauty, and monsters. Vikar (James Franco) a wannabe filmmaker with big dreams arrives in LA only to unwittingly attract the attention of homicide investigator Detective Slim (Danny McBride). Eventually finding his way to the film studios, he lands a job as apprentice to the seasoned editor Dotty Langer (Jacki Weaver) and meets Viking Man (Seth Rogen) who introduces him to the intense world of filmmaking and the dark underbelly of showbusiness. As his involvement in the creative process deepens, so does his fascination with a tragic screen goddess named Soledad (Megan Fox) much to the dismay of bigshot producer Rondell.
Together, Vikar and Soledad discover just how hard it is to live in the blurred boundary between reality and fantasy.

James Franco looks like Pitbull - Zeroville review by F15HF1NG3RZ

Spoiler Alert

I think one of the biggest crimes a film can commit is being uninteresting. On paper this film is anything but that, but the actual film itself just seems to flip flop through scenes and time with no rhyme or reason. There's some full on ham performances, which I'm presuming are intentional but they just fall flat as you've already become uninterested by the time they happen.
