Director Roger Vadim's (Barbarella) remake of his 1956 Bardot classic And God Created Woman achieves the right balance between retaining the original eroticism whilst accounting for an independent, modern woman's approach to life.
Rebecca De Mornay (Identity) stars as raunchy Robin Shay, whose driving ambition is to become a rock star. A woman on a mission she uses her full arsenal of sex appeal, wit and charm and is willing to do whatever it takes. From breaking out of prison to a marriage of convenience with kids included, nothing is going to stop her from reaching stardom. The question is, can she cope with domestic life as part of the deal and can those around Robin cope with her?
