Conman Charlie Miller (Gabriel Byrne), the seductive and ice-cold Tiffany (Thandie Newton) and ace card sharp Vernon (Stuart Townsend) are a trio of hustlers hell-bent on scamming the biggest card game in town and walking away with the pot.

But first they need a stake and a cool $250,000 is what it takes to buy into a game with The Dean (Sylvester Stallone) - the ultimate card mechanic and main man in the shady world of LA's underground gambling clubs.

To get their hands on the cash, Miller and his partners in crime fleece a hot-shot player, only to find out too late that the money they're playing with belongs to the mob.
