It was to be one of the last concerts from the legendary band THIN LIZZY. The trio from Dublin made seethe the audience on the Loreley within the scope of the German music show Rockpalast in 1981. A rock encyclopaedia at the time wrote about the "dreamer, warrior, lover, story teller, peacemaker and rock legionnaire" Phil Lynott. The charismatic bassist, singer and composer had founded the Hardrock-Rhythm & Blues band together with Eric Bell and Brian Downey in 1969. 14 years later he broke up the band after continual coming and going of the guitarists.
