Factual drama about how the glamour-studded career of Britain's most famous footballer not only took its toll on George Best himself but also on the close-knit family that he left behind in Belfast. 'Best: His Mother's Son' tells the remarkable but little known story of Best's relationship with his alcoholic mother. It's a poignant tale that foreshadows the very public transformation of one of Britain's most glamorous stars into one of its most notorious alcoholics.
