Unwanted - Untraceable review by CP Customer

Spoiler Alert
29/10/2008

The premise is interesting, although I suspect influenced by an episode from television show Millennium in the 90's, or certainly that's the impression I had. In that episode the detective sought to track down an online killer based on the Zodiac, known as the Avatar. However in Untraceable any suspense or dread has been lost.

A killer is on a spree but unlike others conducts his murders online. This is the only nugget of originality, the characters lack any depth and the killings are bloody. The direction is bland and the decent budget is evident, yet without the gore this could have been a television movie.
